Introducing the New SPICES Print Series

Published on August 6, 2015 in SPICES Prints.

Big news! I’m proud to announce the release of the American Kitchen SPICES Culinary Print Series published by American Image. Created by me and co-author Brian Keating, the six new prints expand on the original SPICES print published in 2002 and again in 2012. All seven of the SPICES prints are available from MondoFood.com.

The new prints measure 1′ x 3′, which makes them an ideal size for most kitchens. On every one, you’ll find ingredient origins, local flavor profiles and recipe applications. The series includes the original SPICES print and

  • American Grill – Showcases bold flavors
  • Continental – Explores the building blocks of Europe’s most outstanding dishes
  • India and China – Features today’s flavorful Indian and Chinese cuisines
  • Mediterranean – Highlights tastes from Greece, Egypt, Spain and Turkey
  • Southeast Asia – Showcases Thai, Vietnamese and Malaysian cuisines
  • SALT, The Edible Rock – Outlines the origins and uses of the world’s finest salts

Brian and I have found these prints to be a terrific learning resource and, thanks to the graphic design of Pat Welch and photography of Bob Montesclaros and Lois Ellen-Frank, stunning art pieces as well.

Want one for your kitchen? (They also make fantastic gifts for the foodies in your life!) Each print in the new series retails for $20 from Mondo Food.
